The program is aimed at participants who want to work independently toward their goals. The course is offered in English and will also be available in Norwegian in the future.

Do I need to speak Norwegian to join?

The course is currently offered in English and will also be available in Norwegian in the future. So, you don’t need to speak Norwegian to join right now.

However, it’s important to understand that learning the Norwegian language is essential for successful integration. Speaking Norwegian helps you build social connections, feel at home, and actively participate in society. That’s why we encourage you to keep working on your Norwegian language skills alongside this course.

How can I sign up for the course?

After registering through the website www.socialbridgenorway.com and completing your payment, you’ll receive immediate access to the course. You can download the course materials and start working through them at your own pace, whenever it suits you. Everything you need is presented in a clear and user-friendly format.

As a participant, you’ll have access to the course content for three months after purchase. This time frame is intentionally chosen to motivate you to actively engage with the course and keep your progress on track. By staying focused within this period, you’ll increase your chances of achieving your integration goals and getting the most out of the experience.

With the assignments and guidance provided, you’ll be able to take concrete steps within three months and build a strong foundation for your integration in Norway.

What do I need to participate in the course?

To participate in the course, you’ll need a stable internet connection. This is important to access the course materials, downloads, and to attend the personal coaching sessions via Zoom. Additionally, make sure you have a device such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone that allows you to work comfortably.

Can I discuss my personal situation during the course?

During the monthly Q&A sessions, there is an opportunity to ask questions and bring up topics that are important to you. These sessions are held in a group setting and offer a chance to share experiences and learn from each other.

If you would prefer to discuss your specific situation, challenges, or goals in a one-on-one setting, you can book personal coaching sessions separately. These individual sessions offer tailored support and guidance, customized to your needs.

How long will I have access to the course materials?

As a participant, you’ll have access to the course materials for three months after purchase. This time frame is intentionally chosen to encourage you to stay actively engaged with the course and maintain progress. By staying focused during this period, you’ll increase your chances of achieving your integration goals and getting the most out of the course.

With the assignments and guidance provided, you’ll be able to take concrete steps within three months and build a strong foundation for your integration in Norway.

Are the costs inclusive of VAT?

The listed amounts are exclusive of VAT. If you purchase the course or coaching as a business, you can claim back the VAT:

  • In the Netherlands: You must be registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KVK) and have a valid KVK number.

  • In Norway: You must be registered with the Brønnøysundregisteret and have an organization number.

Please contact your accountant or bookkeeper for more information on how to reclaim VAT.

How does personal coaching work?

Personal coaching sessions are conducted via Zoom, a user-friendly online tool that allows us to easily connect with each other.

After completing the four video lessons, you’ll receive a one-on-one coaching session lasting 1.5 hours. During this session, you can discuss your personal situation, challenges, or goals.

Scheduling an Appointment:
You’ll choose a suitable time to schedule the session once you’ve finished the video lessons. We’ll agree on a date and time, and you’ll receive a Zoom link to start the session.

Practical Details:

Long-term support: Can I still get in touch after the course for questions or advice?

After the initial six months, you can continue to join the monthly Q&A sessions by purchasing a yearly subscription for Kr. 1,000.

Additional personal coaching
If you need more one-on-one guidance after completing the course, you can book additional sessions. These are available in packages of 4 sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours, for Kr. 4,500. These sessions give you the opportunity to work in-depth on specific questions, challenges, or goals — fully tailored to your personal situation.

The course consists of 5 online lessons that you can complete at your own pace, along with a one-on-one coaching session. As a participant, you decide how long you take to finish the course. Each lesson includes assignments that you complete independently.

What is the Personal Integration Plan (PIP)?

The Personal Integration Plan (PIP) is a core part of the course and serves as your personal guide to building a meaningful social life in Norway. Throughout the course, you’ll create this plan step by step, with guidance and practical assignments. The PIP is fully tailored to your unique situation, needs, and goals.

Is the course fully online, or are there in-person sessions as well?

The course is fully online, giving you the flexibility to learn at your own pace. In addition, you’ll receive a 1.5-hour personal coaching session to discuss your Personal Integration Plan with a trainer.

There are also monthly Q&A sessions designed to support participants during and after the course. Each session lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

After purchasing the course, you’ll have access to the monthly Q&A sessions for six months. These sessions give you the opportunity to ask questions, discuss challenges, and receive extra guidance as you work toward your integration goals.

What if I can’t attend a lesson live? Are there recordings available?

The lessons are not held live but are available as clear and informative videos that you can download. This allows you to follow the course at your own pace and at a time that works best for you. The videos include all the explanations and guidance you need to work through the course materials.
