My name is Jenny Crone, and I’m the founder of Social Bridge Norway.

In 2017, I moved from the Netherlands to Norway with my Norwegian husband. The path to employment and social belonging turned out to be very different — and much more challenging — than what I was used to.

When I couldn’t find a job that matched my experience and qualifications, I decided to return to entrepreneurship and start something new. This gave me a renewed sense of purpose — in a way that felt true to who I am.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_padding=”|||” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ admin_label=”About Us” _builder_version=”4.16″ global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_2,1_2″ _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_width_px=”1280px” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_padding=”100px|||” custom_padding_tablet=”0px|||” custom_padding_phone=”0px|||” custom_padding_last_edited=”on|tablet” global_colors_info=”{}” padding_tablet=”0px|||” padding_last_edited=”on|tablet” custom_padding__hover=”|||” padding_phone=”0px|||”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.7″ text_font=”body Satoshi regular||||||||” text_font_size=”18px” text_line_height=”2em” header_font=”–et_global_heading_font||||||||” header_font_size=”60px” header_line_height=”1.3em” header_2_font=”body Satoshi regular||||||||” max_width=”600px” hover_enabled=”0″ text_font_size_tablet=”18px” text_font_size_phone=”15px” text_font_size_last_edited=”on|phone” text_line_height_tablet=”” text_line_height_phone=”1.6em” text_line_height_last_edited=”on|phone” header_font_size_tablet=”50px” header_font_size_phone=”32px” header_font_size_last_edited=”on|phone” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}” sticky_enabled=”0″]

I meet many highly educated newcomers who have come to Norway for work, for their partner, or for love. This shared and personal experience inspired me to start Social Bridge Norway: a place where newcomers can find their way into Norwegian society — in their own way and by using their own strengths.

Integration is about more than just language or employment — it’s about belonging, about being able to be yourself and having the opportunity to contribute.

With my background in business leadership, project management and volunteer work — and as a newcomer myself — I want to help others find their place.

I believe in
